Sports Club: What We Do

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

After meetings with the stakeholders concerning the integration of refugees through sports and the change in sports clubs regarding immigration, we created a questionnaire after receiving constant feedback and tips. The questionnaire has 14 questions which mostly consist of closed or half-open questions (questions with predefined answers) and open questions. With these questions we aim at finding answers to the questions if members of sports clubs find it easier to connect with refugees through sports and what changes occurred with the integration of refugees into sports clubs and activities. The questions were posed to members and persons in charge of sports clubs and associations in our local community (in this case Oestrich) and the aim is to receive enough qualitative data to perform an analysis and end up with an interpretation of the data. The prime example here is TG Winkel which is a sports club in Oestrich-Winkel. It offers weekly courses for refugees and its members in among others volleyball
